It has a three-quarter inch nut on it and it opens like a jack. But it is not hydraulic. It has to weigh over 100 pounds. It closes all the way. Looks like on the front and back it has two sets of holes to bolt it to something. Any idea?

I haven’t seen anything.When I was looking it over earlier all I saw was an inspection sticker

My awful guess would be used for adjusting joists, given it's size. A bunch of them together, given the adjusting mechanism, would work to help Leven something incredibly heavy
