If you know what freq to hit the rfids then anyone can technically track the tire. It would take extensive investigation to correlate ownership to the ping though. Government would be the only one with the resources to do that.

Plus rfids are not really secured beyond the device to program it. I've put the 14 words on a pile of tagged rigging equipment over the years

how do you fry an RFID ?

Disclaimer, this is both a felony and dangerous. Take the flash out of a disposable camera and solder in a copper coil. Take the tires a good 50 feet away from anything electronic and fucking emp them.

Did some more research

It looks like we need EMP for quite a few things that are tracing us

Well, all you need is a battery, capacitor, a switch, and a copper coil. And know that if the coil isn't big enough to withstand the dump of electricity from the cap, it blows up like a giant fuse. So be careful with this shit

So how do we stop the feds from knowing our tire size and brand?

At the very least these can form a fingerprint. It'd be surprised if the manufacturer doesn't put a serial number in there.

Where then? The TPMS?
