Month Day Year is superior. There are only 12 months, there are then 31 days, then there are currently 2000+ years.

Also Fahrenheit is superior. When does the temperature outside every see 100C? Never. Also I don't want to say 'minus' half the fucking year.

Also -meters is worse on communications. If the signal cuts out, or reception is poor, you will confuse milli-meters with meters.

In 1742, Swedish astronomer Anders Celsius (1701–1744) created a temperature scale that was the reverse of the scale now known as "Celsius": 0 represented the boiling point of water, while 100 represented the freezing point of water.

For all those Celsius is better because 'muh metric system, just remember that the Celsius (Centigrade) scale was literally backwards when it was first conceived. Notice Celsius only lived about 2 years after developing his backwards scale. I can't prove it, but I think his early demise had to do with him confusing people with his weird temperature scale and getting his bathwater drawn at 37C which gave him fatal 3rd degree burns.

Temperature is the measure of average kinetic energy in a system. So if you are adding the average kinetic energy of one system to another, yeah, 0C+0C is > 0C from a physics perspective but makes no sense from an arithmetic perspective.

The question needs more context to make sense.

You can't add temperatures without meaning.

This is also why you use Kelvin: it avoids this 0 problem.

0K+0K is still 0K because no additional heat is being added. But you are with C and F.

In physics, you talk about adding joules to the system. Which then makes this all make a ton of more sense.
