Facebook’s Zuckercuck recently said he hopes that users stop thinking of Facebook as a social media company and more of a metaverse company.

What in the tarnation brought about this recent obsession with 'metaverse'(&does it have to do anything with possible social credit score system that might come along with the 'great 2030 communist reset') ? How many companies are going to have a kick at the can for this?

Reminds me of the Sony Blueray/Toshiba HdDvd battle. Before that the Sony/Nintendo solid state/optical media battle, & I wasn't there for it, but wayy back was the (beta?)/VHS battle.

Facebook hoping you'd forget that Facebook is Facebook. Like wtf! If rebranding & starting from scratch would be possible without losing your base, logging in with ***.com would have dissappeared at least ten years ago.

Facebook doing some kind of metaverse will turn it into what windows OS was before it got some real competition. Just a big fat bloat of a disaster OS.

Zuck the fat.

No. They want to transition gaming into an actual digital world. The 'rewards' will be your social credit score. The elites want to remove humans from the natural world as much as possible. All your activity will be through a digital 'metaverse'. Work, play, 'friends', etc.
