Facebook’s Zuckercuck recently said he hopes that users stop thinking of Facebook as a social media company and more of a metaverse company.

What in the tarnation brought about this recent obsession with 'metaverse'(&does it have to do anything with possible social credit score system that might come along with the 'great 2030 communist reset') ? How many companies are going to have a kick at the can for this?

Reminds me of the Sony Blueray/Toshiba HdDvd battle. Before that the Sony/Nintendo solid state/optical media battle, & I wasn't there for it, but wayy back was the (beta?)/VHS battle.

Facebook hoping you'd forget that Facebook is Facebook. Like wtf! If rebranding & starting from scratch would be possible without losing your base, logging in with ***.com would have dissappeared at least ten years ago.

Facebook doing some kind of metaverse will turn it into what windows OS was before it got some real competition. Just a big fat bloat of a disaster OS.

Zuck the fat.

does it have to do anything with possible social credit score system?

I think, yes. And Omidyar is itching to get more control over FB for that reason.

What the heck is this omydiar shit? WEF and a bunch of other slobs donate to it? https://omidyar.com/responsible-technology-partners/

He is in EVERYTHING - I've literally tried getting eyes on him for six years, and it's nearly impossible. Now he's teamed up with a FB founder in this: https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/01/17/big-tech-oversight-project-antitrust/

We have to make sure this bill doesn't pass. We are overly-focused on covid at this point, and that's what they want - allows them to slide this stuff in.

The antitrust premise will appeal to people, but it's really a way for them to take it over. PO's been trying to get control of FB for years, via various "oversight groups." He's the one that funded the FB "whistleblower," Haugen.

who gives a shit if cuckbook gets 'taken over'? Its already a massive shitshow, the only thing left there is to slowly & painstakingly try to show your 'friends' the truth about this fucking large-scale deception we've all been duped into. Slow & painstaking because their algos are really limiting your reach inside the platform.

Good riddance if it finally gets 'taken over', & now also with this 'meta' bullshit, they are going to try to integrate cuckbook into 'something new' & much larger than cuckbook, & cuckbook +whatever 'metasphere' that zucercuck design is going to be cumbersome as fk, because he is forced to design a meta verse to make it backwards compatible with his censorship-abortion of a social network.

I think this next step is going to corral a lot of users unto alternative social networks.

well shit now I need to look up yet another bullshit omidyar/project antitrust happening. Too many things to keep track of. IS there an article somewhere where it puts it all into perspective?
