Well, that's precisely what's great with those movies, you know one thing; during 1h30 it's going to be a deluge of improbable events which have barely anything to do whatsoever with reality
And to me, that's the "traditional" american movie, like die hard or jurassic park for instance. For 1h30 you are in a parallel universe, you forget about all your problems
I did enjoy die hard, every Christmas in fact, which is a strange part of American culture. Demolition man was good as well, but in that Sly simply played himself I think which improved his acting.
