Romans 13 provides delineation between Church & State and is one of the foundational texts and precepts of Western Thought, Culture & Civilization. The recognition of the hard wired need for humans to place faith in a higher something while simultaneously remaining tethered to a tangible grounded reality goes to the core of who we are.
