To the women who rant, “why do I always end up with the a$$holes?" I say this with the UTMOST respect, but you need to recognize that you don't "end up" with them... you SEEK THEM OUT. Further, when you select one of these emotionally-bankrupt men—settling for bad treatment, mixed messages, poor communication skills—you are also rejecting other men... great men who might treat you in a way you want them to. My advice: Recognize the pattern and your part in things... so you can change it. Instead of asking yourself why you find the jerks, ask yourself when you'll up your standards and stop settling for second-best? Did you leave the right guy back in The Friend Zone because he "wasn't your type?"
