Fuck all you niggerfaggots

Fuck all you niggerfaggots

Voat was great, when it worked. Half the time it didn't work. I'm impressed with the up-time of poal. Poal never goes down. We do need more people here, however.

AOU deserves a lot of respect for running this place so well. Better than Atko or PuttItOut. Less whining about creators and destroyers, more based comments that show he actually gives a shit about the community.

[–] [deleted] 11 pts

I concur. I didn't necessarily like or trust @AOU for quite some time. Over time my thoughts have changed slightly and he's at least earned a fair amount of respect from me. I still wonder about the legitimacy of the site, but I don't suppose there's much more that could be done to get me to fully trust any website.

Not a fan of the control exerted when it comes to why people are allowed to downvoat. But he sure takes criticism well. Cuz ive gone at him a few times with zero repurcussions.

Evidence suggests Builders & Destroyers was more than meets the eye.

[–] 2 pts

How so, and what's the evidence? Now I'm curious, I must have missed something with all that.

[–] 4 pts

God that "builders and destroyers" post from putt was so unironically cringe that i got a minor case of aids from reading it.

[–] 4 pts

I would disagree. All an owner needs to do is make sure the site has freedom of speech and the software works . They don't need to make based comments. Voat had free speech, here I've had posts moved, banned from posting on default subs, had to wait 15 minutes between posts.

Voat is gone, say what you like about it but it definitely had a wild west anything goes vibe. You were never banned from posting like poal does. I'm currently at level 4, 178 points. Never downvoted a single post. Will I be punished and put at -100 again for posting this? We'll see

[–] 0 pt

I'm currently at level 4, 178 points. Never downvoted a single post.

It's not about downvoting, you shlomoron. It's about shilling with alts just like this one after being banned for throwing threats and spamming fake news links all over the place to slide real news.

So keep kvetching as hard as you can, you will never get a pass here.

I'm banned for postng artcles that I've received in my inbox, that I'm sucrbed: Daly Caller, Right Journalism, The Gateway Pundt, USA Supreme, New York Post, Conservative US, Breitbart, Red State Nation, Fox News, Defiant Amerca and maybe some more, and I was accused of owning the sites lol. I contacted the moderator again to ask hm if I'm posting the right way this time but he isn't responding to my messages!

The owner of this site says it takes a bunch of hundred dollars to run this site per month.

The owner of voat claimed that it cost him at least $2k per month, I vaguely remember seeing something in the range of $4k costs per month.

Fuck voat. The owner was a faggot and finally closed it due to some emotional issues around having to admin a website that, let's be honest, only had a marginal amount of users at best.

Glad you guys appreciate their work, but the owners of this site make voat and those admins look terrible.

[–] 5 pts

That was when the were using Microsoft Azure or something to host the site. Some more knowledgeable members suggested a much cheaper alternative. Voat was rumored to have received around a million dollars or so in bitcoin at present value. Some of the userbase donated prior to BTC exploding in value. I don't know how accurate 1 million is, but suffice to say money probably should not have been the biggest issue.

[–] 5 pts

I always found the whining about money strange. There's no way it should have cost anywhere near what was stated unless it was really, truly coded like crap.

There were plenty of us willing to give money to keep it going, but God, the whining and bitching about how difficult it all was, was annoying to say the least.

[–] 9 pts

Voat did not shut down for the reasons claimed. Timing was too convenient.

[–] 4 pts

II don't recall Atko even so much as asking for money, but when he handed the reigns to Putt, he seemed to have taken every opportunity to shut the site down.

[–] 3 pts

Seemed like Voat was a much more hostile environment.

I know, “THEN FUCK YOU FAGGOT!”

[–] 4 pts

Totally agree on both counts. I still get a little twitchy when AOU (rarely) decries a planned outage.

[–] 8 pts

'decrees', nigger

[–] 7 pts

Thanks faggot

[–] 3 pts

"Decree" is still the wrong word. It means "to issue an order". AOU isn't issuing an order when he's warning about a planned outage. He's just announcing one. But I can see why this mistake was made. When someone makes a "decree", it's often in the form of an announcement, so we tend to conflate the two meanings.

[–] 3 pts

It always worked. Poal never gets shut down because it's compromised and no one ever does any real digging

[–] 3 pts

i've noticed people who are high iq and 'aware' on here are far more likely to be jew-tagged and half-censored, whilst the Q fags who push the most ridiculous disinfo never do. it's very very suspicious.

[–] [deleted] 2 pts

Because you all do it to yourself. Been here long enough to see this happen time and time again. It is the same pattern of behavior shared across all jew-tagged and greyed out users:

  • Abusing the downvote button
  • Talking smack to AOU

These two things are almost guaranteed to put you in the Poal doghouse. I'm not saying whether or not these are good reasons, I'm just stating the fact that they exist.

UNLESS... you're one of a handful of users that are either allowed free reign to do whatever, or they are just good at flying under the radar. I'm leaning on the former right now, as I've posted evidence of a particular user flouting the principles of this place AND gloating about it. He's still abusing downvotes, he's still gloating, nothing is being done about it. Probably because the particular user has a decent-sized post count, just my theory. Pisses me off that I have to control my own itchy downvote finger under threat of getting head cracked, while some others can do it without consequence.

[–] 2 pts

Makes one curious, does this place just get attacked less than boat got attacked?

This place is not as relevant as voat was. With the q op and 'stolen' election.

[–] 1 pt

true, but why kill voat and let this live? would still like to know the full story about voat, why it got shut down, who the investor was.

[–] 0 pt

voat was also a dumping ground for banned eddit subs, which ended up becoming the defacto place to check when eddit was obviously censoring stuff/ they havent really banned any big subs since voat went down not sure where people would end up when they ban the next big community.

[–] 0 pt

They banned the 'no new normal' sub which was pretty big. I think they migrated to .win but that was shut down very shortly after the migration. I think those refugees went to telegram.
