AOU deserves a lot of respect for running this place so well. Better than Atko or PuttItOut. Less whining about creators and destroyers, more based comments that show he actually gives a shit about the community.
I concur. I didn't necessarily like or trust @AOU for quite some time. Over time my thoughts have changed slightly and he's at least earned a fair amount of respect from me. I still wonder about the legitimacy of the site, but I don't suppose there's much more that could be done to get me to fully trust any website.
Not a fan of the control exerted when it comes to why people are allowed to downvoat. But he sure takes criticism well. Cuz ive gone at him a few times with zero repurcussions.

I would disagree. All an owner needs to do is make sure the site has freedom of speech and the software works . They don't need to make based comments. Voat had free speech, here I've had posts moved, banned from posting on default subs, had to wait 15 minutes between posts.

I contacted the moderator again to ask hm if I'm posting the right way this time but he isn't responding to my messages!
You aren't banned, you have been limited because you spammed a specific group of clickbait domains you are related to in default subs (you can deny all you want, but you did the same on voat) and ignore my multiple attempts at contacting you via PM, claiming you don't read PM lol. Surprisingly you replied to the last PM after you were limited.

You shouldn't even know a mod exists tbh. But I think 95% of people on the site are fine with free speech as long as you're saying the right thing.
