Ralph - early fifties - family man in Germany - wife and three kids. Social worker - worked with the elderly, in home end of life care. Full vaccination would be a job requirement. Loved music - audiophile. Non smoker - good health. Complained of flu like symptoms - sent kid to store to buy medicine. Dead on the floor when the kid returned. Officially a heart attack. I liked Ralph. Ralph and his family once took a vacation in Canada specifically to see the Indians. I spent a couple of hours with them. I learned Germans are obsessed with Indians. We took him to the reserve store to buy some real native art. He was overjoyed:) He and the wife dropped perhaps about $1000 on the native art. I also drove them to the airport on their way back home. Now there is a mother and three teenaged children for whom life has just become very much harder. And now I have a dead friend, a dead neighbor, a missing maid, and a crippled maid's kid. The carnage continues.
