Agreed
I’ve got the 3 books on building these and my buddy went to the month long building course in New Mexico a couple years ago. We’ve got some land and would like to build a couple, or something similar, in the future.
Nice. Couple retards in this comment section were attacking and making a fool of themselves. Thanks for the real comment.
Not surprising. People are quick to ridicule what they don’t understand, and are rarely willing to spend enough time getting info to form a fair opinion.
Not some cookie cutter house? It's EXACTLY a cookie cut house! If liberals had their way they would be stacked 8 high and 4 feet apart, maybe.
Ugly as sin. Not my idea of an off grid wet dream, more like a dry, hot nightmare.
Dry? Hot? Did you even look at the post?
Yes, it’s in the middle of the desert so will be very dry and hot in summer. Desert is nice but hard place to live at times. Is this your company offering these abodes?
No, I just think they're neat. The way it's constructed though is way more insulated than normal houses. Inside temperature would be comfortable.
living inside a pile of tires seems about a fun as eating bugs
Fuck normal architecture though. Shitty insulation, rot, blows away in strong wind, expensive.
