In europe the cities were designed for pedestrians, making big marches far more common and for good visuals, but in the US our cities were made for cars, walkability is almost non existant. We fight back but in much less visible ways, and our country is many times the size of most European countries. Example, look how many people are moving out of California and New York, so many that CA is loosing a representation seat in congress next election. The amount of guns we have been buying has broken records, massive companies are moving to different states, governors are outright defying the president, Texas is building the federal southern border. The city of Miami is adopting Crypto, states and counties across the country are becoming 2A sanctuary areas and sheriffs are not enforcing mask mandates or various covid rules in certain counties. Tried to recall the CA governor, some of us are doing stuff. but it's far less visually appealing.
