The only exception to this is child labor, I learned quite a bit about a wide variety of skillsets as a teenager, by the time I was 19 I already had my Residential Wireman's license and still no clue about money and what to charge. Wired a few houses for $15 an hour that came out great, had no idea everyone else back then were billing at $75 an hour. Young and dumb.

All labor is expensive because you have to make twice the amount you put in someone elses pocket
At 30% income tax when someone gives you $150, you only get $100 in your pocket.
When you try to give that $100 to someone else, they only get $70.
So $150 to you turns in to only $70 to someone else.
You had to make double what you tried to get to someone else.
