Speaking to people face to face is much more difficult than just typing back and forth. For what it's worth, most people are much more calm and patient in person.
The thing is, if someone has a high verbal IQ, it doesn't matter how smart anyone is, they will inevitably end up under the guy with the high verbal IQ because of the colorful and magnetic way they can convey ideas.
I'd rather speak face-to-face though. Emotions are lost through a screen.
I don't necessarily agree that high IQ people communicate in colorful and magnetic ways. Shit, I've seen some struggle with basic hygiene. I consider what you speak of to be "charisma" and I don't think that correlates to high IQ.
We're talking about high verbal IQ. Charisma is necessarily tethered to a high verbal IQ, actually...
What do you mean by a high verbal IQ? You mean something more than having a large vocabulary?
