I mentioned a while back on another post that my parents(both retired, and in their 60's) were planning on getting the jab. i talked to my old man about it, and it sounded like he was worried about the susceptibility of their age bracket. covid, the flu, or a combination of both might kill them so theyre taking their chances with the shot. even though the shot will probably make them more susceptible. they have a nice house on the side of a mountain, in a secluded part of rural america. they had no reason to worry about getting sick. now i'm talking back and forth with my sister(also not vaxxed) about the possibility of not having parents next spring. i know my mom probably pushed for it. she was raving about some youtube doctor they really liked. i love them, but these fucking idiots went out of their way to endanger themselves.

I recently found out my brother got it. Suddenly all of the heart problems, bowel problems, blood noses, headaches, fainting etc he's been having for the past 3 months makes sense. He got it coz he wants to travel and now he can't even leave his house. Found out my sister then got it (more recent than the brother). She currently looks like someone who has shingles, boils, burns, and a nasty rash at the same time. She got it coz her work (a national bank of all the lols) told her to even though she is 100% work-at-home refinance specialist.

I tried to warn them. I convinced my mother, some friends, partner and my kids. I even convinced my dementia riddled grandma (until she forgot and some other fuckhead got into her head that she needed it to go and get coffee and that was the end of that, can't wait to see what shit side effects she gets - she's 85 ffs). I'm out of sympathy, heck, I'm starting to run out of emotions all together. There's only so much we can take until we break.
