I mentioned a while back on another post that my parents(both retired, and in their 60's) were planning on getting the jab. i talked to my old man about it, and it sounded like he was worried about the susceptibility of their age bracket. covid, the flu, or a combination of both might kill them so theyre taking their chances with the shot. even though the shot will probably make them more susceptible. they have a nice house on the side of a mountain, in a secluded part of rural america. they had no reason to worry about getting sick. now i'm talking back and forth with my sister(also not vaxxed) about the possibility of not having parents next spring. i know my mom probably pushed for it. she was raving about some youtube doctor they really liked. i love them, but these fucking idiots went out of their way to endanger themselves.

For real. I tried to have the jew discussion with my dad, but he's the typical "theyre our greatest ally in that part of the world!". He's not very political, just kind of doesn't want to be fucked with. I left it at that, though. He's a boomer, and part of that generation. Theirs no changing him, and he might as well live out his delusion.
