I live in a pretty Christian area, plenty of denominations to be found here. Went to a Methodist church years ago, didn’t mind the Lutheran Church I went to with an ex gf. Any thoughts on what’s good these days?

Figure getting involved in a church is what I should do. Need to find something worthwhile to spend time on, plus it’d be fun to un-fuck a church audio rig just for shits and giggles.

It's near impossible to find a church that just opens the Bible and teaches and practices what's therein without adding some level of fuckery. I haven't been to a formal church in years. I know a small handful of other Christians in the same position and we get together as we are able .

There is definitely strength and accountability in a like-minded group. But yes. Attendance for the sake of attendance is nowhere to be found.

I am looking for a social thing. Branded by Christ is hopefully good. Gettin bored with the other townie drunks.
