Akathisia Induced Impulsivity is a condition where one's liver metabolizes SSRIs (benzodiazepines) and some stimulants differently than the mean. When someone has this condition, either shortly after starting to take SSRIs or shortly after they stop the medication, there's a chance they can experience Akathisia, sometimes resulting in violent outbursts (often self-harm) and memory loss.
Ah yes, then I'm familiar with that, though didn't read about it under that name. It's why all the SSRI commercials have "may cause violent thoughts or actions" (the "actions" part being particularly insane to me that people aren't more alarmed by).
Yes. Hence Bird Box being a perfect demonstration. The difference being that this is real life and drug induced... by the Pharma Industry.
