I've seen this video before. It's about 2 years old now. This guy is full of shit. The module with the antenna isn't a weapon as he claims. It's a wireless system that allows the lights to be remote controlled/programmed for lighting schedules, maintenance and fault detection. You can buy these readily on the internet. That 450 volt capacitor he mentions is common. You usually rate capacitor voltages at twice the voltage of the input and since he is in England with a 220/240V supply, this capacitor is rated right where it should be. This is a safety measure and he is freaking out about his own ignorance here.

The antenna, which he calls a "high gain, dielectric lens antenna" is nothing more than a single copper trace on a PCB (circuit board). That is the simplest and cheapest antenna you can get away with. It's not illegal and it's not scanning, targeting or even high gain. It's cheap to make and meets the application's requirements.

He doesn't know fuck all about what he is saying. He never once says what the "weapon" actually does or how it is used. The LEDs, he claims, are actually lasers. It's clear he doesn't know what a laser actually is since LEDs are not coherent light nor are they single wavelength. The 50 Hz flicker is due to the simple LED driver circuit. It's everywhere, including the old incandescent non-LED bulbs. He just doesn't know that he has lived with it his entire life. His TV "strobes" at 50 Hz too, but he still watches that (and pays for a license to the UK gov too!). He's retarded and fear mongering. Ignore this retard and his FUD.

What a bizarre unboxing video. I'm trying to parse what he's saying. So, the street lights are secretly radar activated strobe lasers designed to blind everyone that walks near them? Ok.

Fucking WEAK troll attempt

You're a paranoid sort indeed if you took that as troll attempt. More a summation of what I took from the video.

I gave you too much credit.
