Went to get beer at the Circle K with my bud. We were standing in line with twelvers in each hand. This guy behind us was getting too close. Sean asked him to back up out of our space. He didn't. Sean cocked this guy so hard. Just jawed him perfectly and dude hit the deck. We put the beer down and left.

Respect boundaries. He was warned.

We went to another shop and got beer. I hope when homeboy woke up he remembered something about respecting personal space

I don't share Sean's promptitude for violence. I do respect it.

I'd seen Sean take his shoes off and give them to a bum begging for change. He paid a homeless dude to mow his lawn.

He was a man of character, but a harsh man

My husband is a bit like this but it wouldn't have been an instant clocking. It probably would've been a warning, and then an intense stare that would require the guy to decide whether or not he was going to listen or take it to the next level.

But, I've never seen anyone not back away from/intentionally impede my husband. He doesn't look like the kind of guy with a lot of patience, and he's big enough to do something about it. Best protector, husband and father all in one.
