I'm going to build a greenhouse either in the very near term or next spring. I'm thinking about building a 100ft long hoop house with plastic wrapping, but it may need to stand up to high winds. So, I may have to go with glass. In any case, what kind of greenhouse would you build if you ready to build one now?

I would build this.

Be sure to orient the solid wall north facing.

Traditional all clear greenhouses are silly, that whole north facing side gets no light, but loses much heat.

The crops you mentioned though like cold, so easy to grow all winter without added heat.

Looks good.

Also air piping system deep into the earth, to regulate temperature, is great for winter.

Also good, saw those in Minnesota. Though they do require electricity to work, not much , but some.
