Misery certainly loves company and there's no shortage of salivating, miserable NPCs yearning to take the rest of us down with them. It's important to combat the people trying to lock other people in to a collectivist mindset when it's unhelpful because that's a big way people cna convince others to offload responsibility for their current conditions.
