The whole system of oppression ... was based on keeping malcontents apart, preventing them from reading each other's eyes and discovering how many of them there were; instilling it into all of them, even into the most dissatisfied, that no one was dissatisfied except for a few doomed individuals, blindly vicious and spiritually bankrupt." ― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

The wise words of a man who had lived through a communist takeover offers insight as to why it's so important for the left today to try and limit conservatives' ability to communicate online.

I think what's more dangerous than the commies are the jews who will infiltrate us if we ever revolt and succeed. They will talk conservative and walk conservative, but at the last moment their shapeshifting will revert and we'll be fucked. They'll succeed in getting a sizeable portion of us to follow their lead into basically re-establishing what was already here. How do we educate to people how important actual freedoms and liberties are, even when it means letting your foes have those freedoms too? Because the jewiest trick in the book is sneaking in restrictions on liberties and freedoms by convincing people it's ok as long as we're doing it to the "bad guys." Eventually you'll be the bad guy.
