Good luck trading shit with your precious metals when the word collapses.
Personally, a box of my crackers will go for one of your gold bars.... Eventually ;)
Truth. And make sure the food you have doesn’t smell, even boiling water with firewood if you get trapped in the burbs will attract these human rats. Look up Vaseline and cotton balls. I made up 500, I have tons more. You melt on low heat and add them the a bowl of cotton balls, and stick in a ziplock bag. They burn blue and I can boil with zero odor 5 quarts in a cat iron Dutch oven with 3-4 of them one at a time. As when starts going out toss the other on, they’ll even burn in the rain and start in the rain.
But I can be packed in 20 minutes and at an extremely rural cabin a few hours later.
The funniest shit I heard while waiting to pick up regular groceries about a month in, the hoarder “badasses” talking about their plans. They’d been getting up early everyday to be close to the front of the line and getting toilet paper lmao. I asked what are you going to do with all this toilet paper? And the responses almost made me fall down laughing, these were “men” not women but I kept it together, I know my girlfriend knew I was dying inside.
Their plans were to trade it for food lmao, I said that’s a great idea, I never thought of that and then they went on and on about how toilet paper would be the currency of trade. Where did all these retards read this and who was running the psyop on them, I couldn’t even find a site discussing hoarding toilet paper for emergencies so it was all word of mouth or email lists?
I have enough food for ten people for 2 years also medications, water purification, solar to charge shit, powdered cleaning supplies and rat poison for another 10 years. I’m not giving anyone shit for a roll or a 24 pack of toilet paper.
There’s a 100 ways I can clean my ass without having to ask a neighbor or trade but there’s only one way for most people to eat, prepackaged food, get sick they have no medicines on hand and I won’t be giving that out either.
And once you hand out one thing they’ll talk and you’ll have 50 dummies trying to give you toilet paper for their current need or trying to raid your as a group(if you get stuck in the burbs or city).
Best to invite them and their spouse over or say you’ll bring it over in a bit and put both of them out of their misery.
Never mind I was already partially stocked on munitions but with obama in office I refused to buy high. I saved all my money I would’ve used from 2009-2019, I wanted to wait a few more months for maybe bigger price cuts but the sales were already amazing and they were including free shipping lol. I started buying the day Trump announced the travel ban and kept buying until I ran out of my saved cash. It wasn’t until about a week after this encounter normies started to buy because they heard on the news people were buying munitions lol. Then they panicked bought high when dealers knew they could jack up their prices and sold out and only crap was left at even more outrageous prices.
In Oregon people couldn’t believe others would be buying guns and ammo to protect themselves instead of spending that money on extra food to share if it came to it lmao.
Sounds good, until 10 armed men storm your camp and take it all because you are a loner with no allies.
I could see an argument for toilet paper. It depends on how quickly society collapses. A gradual collapse seems more likely. The beginning would look a lot like the recent shortages of supply and distribution we are seeing right now. Could be a year or more before the complete breakdown of law, order, and utilities. In the meantime a person would still be expected to go to work, pay property tax, and so on. During this period a person could trade commodities for goods and services without arousing suspicion and avoid depleting their own stocks. Look at the collapse of the ussr as an example. Razor blades, liquor, and condoms demanded a premium. In the event of a sudden disruption in the supply chain and people quickly starving none of it would be useful, but that may not be the only course of events.
Do you have any suggested websites to check out that compile a lot of good information about prepping? You really seem to know your stuff.
Lots of goodies! ship to the US.
I’ll pm you later today or tomorrow.
No sites, they’re as bad as hanging out with global warming cultists or other idiots, my ex-brother-in-law became one and would try to quiz us, you do this, this and that. Oh how did you know that, that’s what I learned plus stuff that’s never been mentioned. It’s called life experience, listening to old people talk about the depression, hard times and thinking ahead.
What kind of dog should I buy to keep rats away, a rat terrier? Why not stock up on the professional/agricultural rat poison that you can order online by the case and even sometimes third parties sneak it onto Amazon. Buy cases when you have spare money and if you need to use it then put some down in a home built large bait station so they don’t carry a pound brick away. You may never use it but at least your dog isn’t 10 years old if you need him.
That way you also don’t need to feed a dog just hoping it kills rats that will out breed his catching ability. If you want a dog get one for protection.
When the libpocalypse hits people will still need metal to make shit. Your crackers are gonna expire in a few weeks after you open them. Silver is antibacterial. It can be used for medicine. It can be used for film-based photography. It can do a lot of different shit.
