Awesome, reminds me of when we wrecked the tires of our bigwheels going down the steep hill down the street and at over 40mph turn the wheel hard right and do 3 or 4 360's in the road still doing over 30 and end up sliding backwards into the neighbors driveway.
The only thing that drove me nuts was him going over the white line losing a ton of speed and having to pedal to get most of it back. He could have won with ease if he stayed on the flat pavement and it would have made the adrenaline from the increased speed incredible. I usually hate races but this and the bmx bikes in the forest with jump ramps built into the course are incredible and these races should be in the Olympics, kind of like the bobsled runs but on roadrash course.
Yeah i agree, i dunno but i think it's a way to quickly reduce a ton of speed on the hairpins without burning through the brake pads and causing a lockup at high speed or losing/ flipping in the turn but yeah it kinda had me going '"No why ? ? - hang it out and slide round !! " but then realised even at 40-50 kmh (judging by his little speedometer) the road probably wouldn't to too forgiving or the dead over the side, lol ...
