My mom raised us in the 80's. She got mad at our energy told us to go outside until we got hungry. I lived in the country. I found black berry bushes, I found snakes, frogs. I didn't go home until it got dark. Girls today don't have that option. They sit in their apartments, always looking at their phones while the kids scream and run through the house. She'll say don't get crazy and guess what happens? They get hurt and run to mommy. Sad about this new generation of girls who can't afford country living.

Yeah. I would bring home a bunch of frogs I shot with my bb gun and We'd have frog legs for supper. It sounds weird but it's the tastiest meat I've ever had.

I've had them and gator [didn't catch either myself] they both taste fishy IMHO.

Have to agree with that, though I've not had frog legs, just gator. Gator was okay but a bit fishy yeah.
