Dimming someone's "speech" is the same as shadow banning on FB.

DON'T FADE ME BRUH

It's obvious how some of the rednames got themselves there as well.

If you're being paid cash to infiltrate Poal, congratulations on being employed you sick fuck. Thai ladyboys have more dignity in their profession. I feel a tiny shred of pity for people gaming Poal to change the color of their username as if that will change the integrity of their messages or their person

lol No one is gaming poal and if they do, the algorithm will eventually get them, thus the kvetching when it happens.

By gaming I meant posting the same headlines that come across the Google newsfeed and the reposting of those articles that garner upvotes. Some of the rednames get their ups being news aggregators.

edit: would it be fair to say, attempting to game Poal?

It’s more like clickbait posts, those don’t get much love, especially in default subs.

It’s like Poal’s very own version of Wikipedia’s Early Life section.

"You're telling me I can check people's Early Life section on Wikipedia?"

"No, Neo. I'm telling you that, when the time comes, you won't have to."

I got dimmed for literally no reason. I joined during the Voat exodus. I made 1 or 2 submissions related to Voat, and have done nothing except offer insightful comments since then. I never downclicked anything, just upclicks on submissions and comments I found interesting. Then one day, AOU decided he didn't like me and accused me of "downvote brigading" and faded me and nuked my points. No reason whatsoever.
