When our governments finally collapse, and they will, what is going to fill that power vacuum? Obviously the state will be the first to step in but they are small in number compared to the citizenry at large. The state will only provoke splintering groups. It's not hard to imagine anarchy for a while. All the groups will move to seize power. Even worse, the rest of the world will move in for the kill.
One thing that will always keep foreign intervention at bay is the nuclear capability of the states.
What's your guys thoughts? What kind of monster is going to rise to the occasion and wrestle for power?
Also, when the new government is instituted, only 4th generation Americans( or more ) can vote and run for public office.
