I found some jewtube videos ( showing two flags manufactured by Valley Forge), and ( showing one manufactured by Annin), which clearly shows how out of specification they are.
Check out the top and bottom row of stars and where they line up with the red stripes. Compare that with the actual US flag specification.
Maybe it doesn't matter to you, but it bothers me that they can't even bother to follow the specification. It makes the flag look sloppy. The distance from the edge of the blue to the center of the first row of stars is supposed to be exactly the same distance as between the rows of stars. The point is to make a uniform field of stars, neat and centered with equal spacing throughout. Their sloppiness leaves a huge gap at the top and bottom of the blue field.
