Lisa Lampanelli was funny in her first Comedy Central special, 20 years ago. Went quickly downhill. Otherwise...nothing. Women are not funny.

Jen Psaki is funny. I don't think she is intentional about it though.

Women have never been much good at standup comedy. To get noticed, they have to act like men and be aggressive and vulgar. Our culture won't let a funny woman be funny, as a woman. In the 1950s Lucy played a funny woman -- she bumbled around, getting into trouble and bawling her eyes out, until her husband Ricky saved her. No female comic could do today what Lucille Ball did in the 1950s. The woman's liberationists wouldn't allow it.

women arent funny because they dont need to be.

Comedy is to disarm people who would otherwise be threatened. Women are inherently unfunny because they are inherently non-threatening and have never needed to develop the skills to disarm people either evolutionarily or socially.

Women are sort after and valuable baseline for what only they can produce: offspring. nothing else is necessary for them other than to maintain what they were born with and developed naturally. Men on the other hand are worthless baseline and need to develop skills to match what a woman has baseline.

Comedy is only one skill a man can obtain to equal women, women dont need it, so they dont rely on it or hone it. The only time a women ever tries to be comedic it is for completely non-comical and spiteful reasons (I CaN Do WhAt MeN cAn Do!1!) so it never succeeds because it is rooted in the narcissistic need to dominate rather than appease.

this is why women arent funny.

a long time ago i used to watch The Tracy Ullman Show. it wasn't gut-busting funny, but she was a comic genius. i have no idea if she has succumbed to the times.
