If you own a house and don't have kids, you can put up a couple of "No Trespassing" signs and then buy a couple of those Black lawn jockeys and put them off to the side of your lawn. Directly in front of the lawn jockeys, you can build a small pit of spears like they had in Vietnam so when some scumbag comes on your property and tries to steal them, they end up in that pit.
