I recall in a previous thread someone mentioned that catbox pics can be overwritten/lost and to back upto some other domain but I didn't take note of it... Any suggestions pls?

wow I just read up on it. I would LOVE to support ipfs but not on catalina... hmm maybe ill get a raspberry pi or something like that to install it on.

If I install a node on one of the computers in my place can I have full "desktop" control of it from another computer in my LAN?

Should be possible. You might have to use ssh port forwarding or X-windows.
