Honestly you sound pretty retarded. You dumped fabric softener on the driveway because it will "wash away with the rain" and it's not a big deal because "it goes in the water anyway"? Lmao And you are pissed at someone asked you not to do that? I'd probably tell you not to do that either. It's retarded. Just dumping chemicals onto the ground cuz you're too lazy to take 15 more steps to go back into the house
Hey, faggot. It was quick, and convenient. My hands were already dirty. Mind your own business, cunt. It was on my property. You don't even know what the fuck chemicals are. Water is a chemical, you retard. The softener is biodegradable, you moron. You put it in your laundry, and it gets washed away with what -- WATER. Idiot. Think before you speak. You sound like a liberal.
The driveway feeds into the stormwater system, which either flows directly to an outlet (river, lake, ocean) or into the groundwater.
The drains in your home feed into the sewage system, which has treatment plants with bacteria specifically designed to break down biodegradable substances in the water before it's released to catchment areas (or you've got a septic tank, which has those bacteria in it).
Pouring it out in the driveway means that the fabric softener is degrading in living animals much higher up the food chain. Pour it down the toilet next time.
Wow now that's faggot-talk
Does your washing machine just dump outside too? If it's like everyone else's, the detergent goes down the drain, which ends up at a water treatment plant to be cleaned and purified, or on a septic tank. When you dump things outside, they seep down into people's drinking water wells
Does your washing machine just dump outside too?
This could be the second sentence in a Mother Earth News article about the wonders and joys of constructing a gray-water irrigation system for your ethically-sourced heritage seed vegetable garden.
It became his business when you posted your whiny story for all here to see.
You said you were curbside. Where i'm from that's not your property.
theres a difference between sewer and groundwater. In florida the water table is a few feet down. Depends on where you live.
I dump my chemicals in the river to speed their dilution.
Dumping "chemicals" into the sewer is just as bad.
It is. But if you use fabric softener in a wash cycle then it ends up in the sewer anyway. It's the lesser of two evils. Doesn't seep into people's wells or poison birds etc
