It's better to tell them the jews ran the slave trade.

Despite being a tiny, tiny minority of the "white" populations, jews were nearly all of the slavers, and the vast majority of the owners. The reason they're rich is off the back of blacks. They've used that money to shift the blame onto the very Europeans who freed the slaves.
