I don't work at the Homeless Despot. But I am in a lumber adjacent field. It's not Homeless Despot jacking up the prices. It's the lumber mills. The cost of buying timber hasn't changed.

Lumber is a commodity. Home Depot is the largest appliance dealer in the nation. Appliances are their loss leader. Paint as well.

Margin is extremely low! I work in the industry, Family owned for 110 years customer service oriented. You must sell Thousands and usually just a convenience factor leading to large, one stop shopping experience.
