Well I've got a court date next week for a $1200 no mask ticket!

I don't expect too see the cop show up and I don't think they will let me speak. But I am prepared to call them out.

See, all cops are not mindless automatrons. Some are regular guys that want to protect the area they live in and could give 2 fucks when they realize a law is bullshit. The police where I used to live did not give 2 fucks about weed when the stupid Reagan "just say no" ramped up, I knew people that were called the day or 2 before the feds were coming in to bust them and told just move your stuff to somewhere else you know they won't find them so boxes of bongs, scales, and other stuff and sometimes a lb of weed is moved in an hour later to their moms basement, barn, hole in the yard near the woods, or even to a friends a block or 2 away that was trustworthy and wouldn't steal, just moral to the bone and didn't give 2 fucks about an unconstitutional weed law that walked all over working citizens rights. Coke, meth and other shit, no, they knew that shit was garbage/poison so that dealer was just not told by the police officer that was HS buddies with these people but knew the hard shit turned that buddy into a monster eventually. Weed though they realized it was all bullshit lies and they went throught the motions but did not go out of their way. I once rode in a police car not under arrest and we're riding on not open brand new roadway at around 140 and we're all smoking up but that was before Reagan and it was with my roommate that was around 40 and he grew up with the guy. Now being that young in a police car, lights, sirens, and at 140 was likely the most incredible time I had before I was 30. It also made me when hanging with other guys drinking not use the word pig when they were pissed at a police officer. I also knew but didn't say they were so dumb like being in town riding drinking beers and weed windows down metal cranked. It sounded when they said it "Hey fucker, I don't give a fuck so I dare you to bust me". Now that's just no sense low IQ behavior but try to tell them that and they are all offended you stated what is obvious to everyone but you can't teach stupid and instead sit there nodding knowing that is a person that is likely going to be caught again within 2 years.

I've been working out of town in a small town courthouse in Texas for the last two weeks. No one but a handful of terrified, about to keel over from natural causes boomers are wearing masks anywhere, other than people who have to coddle them (waiters, store clerks, etc.)

Wtf? Where do you people live?
