I haven't kept up with it but since he seems to be a puppet of the communist West, I doubt he's controlled opposition. He spent time in prison. He seems to be an agent to take down control from Putin
Possibly, but Assange is in jail and Wikileaks has always likely been a psyop, as well.
I occasionally have to remind myself that there is no leak war.
Any leaks that are allowed to circulate are just that; allowed. Any unauthorized leaks get buried immediately.
The level of control over information is generally more than people suspect.
For example, when Dominion Voting Systems data was leaked, the information was repackaged and posted by a "controlled opp" Islamic extremist group to make it look like the bad guys hated Dominion. The information was never seen on the Internet again, as far as I know.

First, Wikileaks has published only a fraction of a percent of what it has been given. It seems they offer up their silence in exchange for payment before publishing anything.
Second, Trump, at any point, could have ended Assange's imprisonment.
Third, Assange was raised in some weird cult, which should always be a red flag to everyone.
We can keep going from there.
There is no leak war. Wikileaks has published literally nothing we have given them. Not the Wuhan Institute of Virology leaks. Not the WHO leaks. Not contact lists. Not Hunter Biden emails. Fucking absolutely, positively nothing.
The leaks they did publish were highly selective and, while suggestive, are missing a lot of the obvious bombshells.
Keep in mind; Wikileaks did not publish the DNC leaks. "DC Leaks" and "Soros Leaks" published first. Wikileaks merely rehosted this material. The same with Hillary Clinton's emails. Wikileaks merely republished what the FBI very selectively decided to release.
What that leaves is the Podesta leaks. However, those were "out there" already. We already knew John Podesta's passwords; "Runner4567" and "password" among them. So, whether or not Wikileaks published, or not, the Podesta emails were going to come out.
The Stratfor leaks were the same problem. If Wikileaks didn't publish, they were going to be published, anyways.
Notice what happens to a leak when it isn't sanctioned by the left hand of alt right media. Nothing. Nada. Zip. You're lucky if your uploads don't get hash banned on every major site.
Despite the fact that, at this very moment, I have evidence of all kinds of corruption that I could (and do) give to the authorities. Leaks are meaningless. They are totally ignored. Look at Hunter Biden. His data is out there and the left hand of the alt right media told everyone... "Don't release it, we'll do it as an October surprise." So... everyone sits on their hands like idiots. Then, they say, "Well, let us release the more tasteful evidence in censored versions. Just hold on to the uncensored versions." Then both the right and the left media and the entire Internet disappear virtually every piece of damning evidence against the Bidens. The Right betrayed their own and turned out to be a tool of the deep state left.
Remember what happened the last time a few Epstein photos leaked out, with him holding a sleeping girl on the plane? The same day, a pilot/IT guy killed two FBI agents and himself.
Remember the butler who leaked the black book? Also dead.
The people who rule the world from the shadows are not worried about leaks. They clearly control them and feel confident about that control. No unauthorized leak will be given any attention.
I invite anyone to prove me wrong. I can get any kind of leak you want. Then, we can give it to whoever you want and see what they do with it.
