British Columbians pay a total of $0.3696 per litre ($1.397/USgal) in taxes. The current price of fuel in the GVA (Greater Vancouver Area) is $1.51cad/L or $4.56usd/gal.

BC is currently run by a socialist party (New Democrats) with the Liberal Party (neoliberal) as the official opposition.
