No. A sect is a group within a larger group and Christians have no parts in those who reject Christ. Also, modern day judaism is different from the religion of Mary and Joseph. Jews even admit this. Modern day judaism descended from the pharisees and scribes who were a sect among the jewish people. They twisted what the prophets had taught. This is why Christ condemned them. No one in history had as much as an impact at exposing the jews than Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
