I work for a company that has a week quarantine policy if you leave the continental US. I went to a territory and missed the next week of work for quarantine.

The company said I was to be compensated before I went on the trip and now has backtracked on the decision. Do I have any laws or recent bills that the company is in violation of?

Thanks mate. I appreciate it. Company has been progressively getting worse and worse ever since the covid restrictions started. This was the final straw.

There should be a law for workers rights that you can pull up and check. I don't know where you are. But if you weren't working they might get away with it even if they forced you not to work. Maybe you can get a tax break for being part time.

I have another coworker who they tried to stiff when his wife had a positive PCR test. He tested negative and had to spend two weeks out. He used the CARES act to receive his money. I'm going to look into the fine writing on the CARES and the HEROES act and see if there is anything.

Damned right.

When the company disrespects you it's time to go.

I have another spot in a neighbouring state I want to move to. Bonus that it's 98% white in the area. Wish me luck.
