If there is one downside to capitalism, it would be that creations like this is allowed and widely distributed. It is put together to get you high, then crashes your system to make you crave more, thus creating a repeat customer who will keep paying. Doesn't matter that it is literally rotting your body from inside out and the workers are fully aware of that. They don't feel any moral obligation to anyone except to make money. The capitalism is the best system we have so far, but it rewards the psychopaths with no moral qualms way too much.
They call it hyper-capitalism. Basically, capitalism worked so well, and we've evolved so far from survival economics that abominations like this and products made-to-break (intentional obsolescence) become the norm. Most people today have never even paid someone who directly slaughtered their meat. That's how far removed we are.
