So what is the advantage of it?

[–] 1 pt

I'm not exactly sure. I do know Yamaha worked on it for a long time before releasing it and it handles very well in corners and at speed.

Yeah it looks cool as fuck, but I been ridin all my life and cant see what makes it better. In fact it seems like it would handle worse. But wtf do I know.

[–] 1 pt

fun fact: It will do wheelies

I think one of the points has to do with cornering and lowering the risk of the front tire(s) washing out.

I gotta say, looks pretty gay

A motorcycle has two wheels. Period.

How is it compared to a Can-Am Spyder?

When riding it, YOU lean the Niken to turn, just like a regular sport bike. You could drag a knee if you wanted to. It would let you.

When you stop riding it, It WILL fall over if you think that you can just leave it and it will stand up on its own.

The front suspension on this thing is super nice.

The way the front end works is kind of like the teeter totter at the park, but a little bit fancier.

Bored design engineer: Hey, what if we put 2 front wheels on a bike?

That looks awful and pointless.

Also, it makes lane splitting a lot more difficult, which is a major reason why I have a bike.

Freaky.

Looks like it should be able to transform into a big robotic armor suit or something.

It also looks fun!

Yeah it was pretty awesome. When riding it, it felt just like an actual bike, leaning and turning and everything felt super nice.

After thinking about it I could see it being more stable

It's basically an MT-09 with fancy high tech shit going on in the front.

Three wheels, it probably rides just like my ural gear up. Ok but seriously, I'd like to ride one of these. Idk that I'd buy one, but I'd ride the shit out of one.

It rides very smoothly, and despite looking heavy and cumbersome, it handles like an actual bike and weighs about 150 pounds more than a Yamaha MT-09 but still about 200 pounds lighter than a Honda Goldwing, which old men ride the shit out of. I'd say the Niken (It's the Yamaha Niken) handles more like a sport cruiser or slightly heavier standard sport bike like an MT-09 decked out with bags and crash bars and stuff adding more weight. The Niken feels confident to ride.

Niken, I couldn't think of it. I've been looking at a TW for a while, and I've seen this on their website. I believe you that it rides like a heavy mt09.
