I don't think anyone in power got anything more complicated than a B12 booster, or perhaps time-release Viagra. But giving thousands of people a placebo would HAVE to be leaked by someone. Plus, it has killed or sickened thousands. And how would the pharma companies make money off saline shots? It's basically seawater.
