As much as I trust the media I'm not going to take on faith that the few tents in the picture was a homeless camp. Speculation but could they not be protesters on an extended vigil? This picture and article made me think of the memes where a scene is split into 3 each frame selling a narrative. Not saying they aren't homeless camps, the US is embracing 3rd world status, just seems a sketchy story
