Please cite where “johns hopkins proved that”.

This is litereally around the TWENTIETH time Ive had to explain this. Its tedious— why don’t you people read the soures you go aroung quoting, what do you think? Briand is the data analyst who made some misleading (my charitiable take) claims that were further distorted by the JH newsletter.

  • “death rates stayed the same for all age groups.” Essetially a LIE. Deaths for every age group went up proportionally, ~ 15 or 20 percent. Most of those (covid) deaths were among the elderly naturally. Younger groups had the same relative increase but few additional deaths. Briand presented this as “the death rates stayed the same across age groups” because as a piece of the death pie the elderly did not have a larger slice. But it was a BIGGER death pie, she doesnt deny that. She’s just trying to trick people. She uses the term death rate deceptively, no one ever uses the term death rate in this way.

  • “ high weekly death counts are normal” another bullshit claim in her presentation. She argues because there is a natural variation in normal process— the frequency of “deaths per week” values will have a bell shaped distribution—there is nothing to worry about when you see a week with 40% higher deaths than the average. She asserts that in a normal distribution very high and low values are expected statistically. But this is shenanigans. The US deaths per week statistic has been between 10 and 40 % above the average for around 48 weeks in a row! That event can NEVER be chalked off to normal variation, which is exactly what she is trying to do. I know the argument she is trying to make because I used to do this shit— her assertion is diarrhea.

  • “There has been a yearly increase in total deaths because of demographic shift” more bullshit. She shows that for 3 years the increase in total deaths went up ~2.5 % so we shouldnt worry. Over the 5 year average its more like 1%, but it doesnt matter because deaths went up 20% over the last year, which sure cant be explained away by a fucking demographic shift. Nice try.

But why dont you reread the JH newsletter article or her original presentation, check her numbers and try to trip me up? I encourage you. Look at the math and PROVE ME WRONG. Go head boomer.

I used to get paid to lie with statistics. Its easy because no one ever bothers to look at the math. I DO.

But why dont you reread the JH newsletter article

JH struck it down for wrongthink

Is your position that there is indeed a high covid death rate, ie that covid is what Fauci and his peers claim?

[–] 0 pt

either agree with me or agree with fauci

False choice. I believe that covid has a fatality rate maybe 50 times higher than the annual flu. I believe that Fauci created this vieus by funding the Wuhan virlogy lab and that he has been sowing disinformation about effective treatments and pushing ineffective quarantine measures to exploit a political opportunity

Now, address the innaccuracies I have pointed out about the JH article. Is your silence an implicit admission that Briand abused the numbers to make misleading claims? I encourage you to look at her math.

I personally think it is irrelevant whether she was struck down for wrongthink. She is a data analyst and she has misinterpreted the data, seemingly purposely. That is bad bad bad.

Why do you care what her position is if her purpose is to analyze the data and she is doing it improperly? Look at the math man!

So what of the reports that the flu cases are next to nonexistent, as they're most all being counted as covid?

Also, what virus? There is no valid test for covid, the gov't conceded that it was even using the invalid "test" incorrectly, and no government health agency has isolated the virus yet. Not even China and the USA, which throws a real wrench into the contention that Fauci had this cooked up starting in 2014 or so.

Briand abused the numbers to make misleading claims?

What would the motivation behind this have been? How would Hopkins have released something so incorrect, isn't all science only officially science if it has been extensively "peer reviewed"?
