Especially for people who live in areas with faggoty gun laws. A high lumen flashlight can be effective at disturbing sight even during the day, then go for the knees (can't stand, can't see, can't fight) A striking bezel is preferred (if you have one try pressing it lightly into your own chest and twisting it). It's not my first choice by any stretch but it certainly should be part of everyone's every day carry.

I agree with your assessment and advice and personally carry a high lumen flashlight as part of my EDC. Still, my preference is to send 124gr of copper coated HST followed by a big loud noise. Living in a free state is nice. I pack the pistol whenever I can and the light, always.

Employer doesn't allow guns.
