Especially for people who live in areas with faggoty gun laws. A high lumen flashlight can be effective at disturbing sight even during the day, then go for the knees (can't stand, can't see, can't fight) A striking bezel is preferred (if you have one try pressing it lightly into your own chest and twisting it). It's not my first choice by any stretch but it certainly should be part of everyone's every day carry.

Yep. I keep one in the car. For when you don’t need to shoot someone. You hold it in above the bulb end. Then it won’t slip off your hand.
