I’m really bummed about Cali. It’s easily one of the most beautiful parts of the country and the weather is incredibly nice. I love the palm trees, the redwood forest, the coastline. I was visiting philly and was eating a bunch of cheesesteaks cause i figured i ought to. Then i went up to atlantic city and had room service bring me a cheesesteak at like 2 or 3am drunk as hell. Got food poisoning. Spraying out of both ends, had to stay an extra day while my body expelled fluids at an alarming rate. Never had a cheesesteak since.

Drove there on duty in the Navy, only instruction do not get out of the van off base in the city you will get murdered. The duty officer that had been there quite a few times said unarmed you're dead meat walking. The guys on base told me that was the best advice I could have received ever.
