This attitude is why the real Robert E Lee statue is covered in blasphemous graffiti. Other races only embrace or tolerate your culture long enough to overtake you, and then ultimately subjugate you when they achieve power. Benevolence and tolerance is only ever either a Trojan horse for the group that isn't dominant, or a willingness from the dominant to naively allow Trojan horses to make it inside and overtake them in time. Respect those who respect you, sure, but don't get to thinking anyone outside your tribe gives a fuck about your tribe.
